Our friends who helped us clear our land yesterday also cooked us lunch…a very unusual and extremely tasty pasta dish made with sausage mince and turnip greens! Yes, thats right, the green leaf from the tops of turnips!
In 2008, my partner and I purchased an old stone house in a fertile forest in the very beautiful hills of Piemonte Italy.
In the following years, we witnessed the beauty and power of nature in our little valley and made a commitment to minimise our environmental footprint.
Minimalism means intentionally living with less. It means rejecting consumerism. It means freedom.
In 2014, we made a purchase which was to enable us to have minimalist holidays in Australia. We bought a mini-bus converted into a motorhome in Queensland and spend our holidays travelling Australia in a minimalist way.
Since discovering how freeing minimalism is, I have become a staunch advocate for its merits and hope that I can transfer this passion to you through my writing.
